This Privacy Policy explains how Synic ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our music player application (the "App"). By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect or store any personal information on our servers. All media and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not collect or track personal data, IP addresses, or device identifiers. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or web analytics tools.

a. Local Media Access
  • The App requires access to your local files (e.g., audio, video) to play your media.
  • This data stays on your device and is not transmitted.
b. Cloud Account Login Information
  • When signing in with Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box, we may access your account email address for identification purposes within the App.
  • This email address is used solely to indicate which account is currently connected and is not stored or shared externally.
c. Analytics & Crash Logs
  • We do not use external analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Crash reports, if enabled by your OS, may be shared with Apple in anonymized form.

2. Use of Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services to enable cloud import functionality:

a. Google Drive
  • OAuth via GoogleSignIn and ASWebAuthenticationSession.
  • Scope used: drive.readonly.
  • The App displays your Google Drive files directly within the interface and allows you to download selected media files.
  • No files are created, modified, or deleted.
  • Your email address is accessed to indicate the connected Google account.
b. Dropbox
  • Connected using the official Dropbox SDK with OAuth 2.0 authentication.
  • The App lists your Dropbox files and allows downloading selected items for offline use.
  • No upload, modification, or deletion of files is performed.
  • Your Dropbox account email is accessed and displayed locally.
c. Box
  • Authenticated via secure OAuth 2.0 login flow.
  • Users can browse and download selected files from their Box account.
  • No content is uploaded or altered.
  • Your Box account email may be displayed locally after login.

All integrations are read-only and initiated solely by the user. OAuth tokens for all services are securely stored on your device using Apple’s Keychain Services. No credentials or personal data are transmitted to our servers.

3. Subscriptions & Purchases

  • Premium features are offered through Apple In-App Purchases.
  • We do not store or access your billing information.
  • All transactions are processed and verified through StoreKit.

4. Data Security

  • All OAuth tokens (Google Drive, Dropbox, Box) are stored securely using Apple Keychain Services.
  • No authentication or file data is transmitted to third-party servers under our control.
  • All access requires explicit user permission and remains local to your device.

5. Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or process any data from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be announced within the App. You are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
